these songs sound terrific remixed! Who better to do the remixing then Owen Bradley, who produced the original tracks. There are those who bemoan that the songs have been remixed, but the original versions are available in pristine form elsewhere. These are slight variations on the originals, and the result is a freshening up of the terrific performances. If you love Patsy Cline's music, you'll love this recording!

This movie, featuring great performances by Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline and Ed Harris as Charley Dick, Cline's husband, chronicles the life and times of Patsy Cline, her rise to stardom, and her all too brief hold on it.

I like most people my age I've never heard of Patsy Cline and have little or no interest in country music but still it has to be said that this is an excellent film. My mother is a huge fan of Patsy Cline and that is how I ended up watching this film in the first place. Believe me it was not something I would go out of my way to see, but I was pleasently surprised. This film illustrates the tragic life of one of country music's best known stars splendidly. The performances by Jessica Lange and Ed Harris are wonderful (some of the best I've seen from either of them). The story unfolds in a way that keeps you interested throughout the entire film, so much so, that it over before you know it - in a good way though!! Basically this is a good film ... Read More:
