 Rating: - HilariousThis is just pure genius. The lyrics have that certain wit that had me rolling for ages. But where as most comedy bands rely just on their lyrics, Green Jelly also delivers amazing riffs and wicked drum lines. The cd is also full of different styles of music from hard metal to dance and back again, all as good as the last. Buy this album. Rating: - Worth Waiting ForWho can forget sitting in front of MTV all those years ago and singing along to the hilarious video for 'Three Little Pigs'? If you've heard that track or 'Anarchy in the UK' then you'll know what to expect throughout. A succession of amusing, heavy sounding delights that make listening to music fun. Green Jelly don't take themselves too seriously, you won't find political slogans, merely lyrics like 'Green Jell-o Sucks' and a rollicking good time. An enjoyable snapshot of early nineties rock with some really classic guitar riffs (even if a couple of them are rip offs); this record is guaranteed to lift spirits and bring a smile to your face. |
