 Rating: - A happy Christmas guarenteed.......I first came across this recording when my father bought it on vinyl. It was in danger of being the first record I had ever worn out, so I bought another copy as soon as I saw it was available on CD some years ago. It is a winning combination of a top-class brass band and choir. The musical arrangements are wonderful, as are the performances, especially that of the band; crisp, clear, precise and accurate, yet played with soul and sensitivity. The choir, too, bring much feeling to their contributions. My particular favourites are the Christmas Festival overture, For Unto Us and the finale, Christmas Fantasy.
