Editorial Review: Amazon.co.uk Review: Any obsessive Backstreet fan, please look away now--the following statement might make you cry. The BBs are different from the clutch of boy bands from both side of the Atlantic (from New Kids to Boyzone) because none of them are actually that good looking. AAARGH! Don't kill the messenger, this is meant nicely. It took four years for them to find worldwide success (better-lookers would have done it quicker, but better-lookers wouldn't be so talented), but from 1995-99 the five boys (AJ, Howie, Nick, Kevin and Brian) slogged their guts out, singing their harmonies and winning loyal support. This album, their second in Europe, came just as they were established here, and were getting started with their old material in their native USA. The opening three tracks, all killers, prove their pop mettle: the howlingly dirty "Backstreet's Back", "As Long As You Love Me" and "All I Have To Give". Wierdest track, and strangely satisfying with it, is their harmony-fest take on PM Dawn's "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss", a frat-boy serenade to all us eternal teens everywhere. --Charlie Porter Customer Reviews

 Rating:  - still love this cdEven though I listern to Millenium & Black and Blue I still love to listern to this cd.I just love the songs and I remeber why I started to like this band.All I have to give is still one of my fav BSB songs and Everybody just makes me want to dance. they are the best. Rating:  - A good second albumThis album is pretty good, and I know, I have all 3 BSB albums. All I can say is that this album is pretty much all slow songs with a few fast tracks like Everybody, That's The Way I Like It and maybe 2 or 3 others. Either way, it's a very emotional album full of sentiment. Rating: - best alb of 99 ?this album is brilant with its mixture of songs from the english relece of backstreets back and there self titled first album backstreetboys it includes clasic bsb tracks such as Get down and hay mr dj. weve got it goin on is a great opning track as it is so up tempo it ill have you groving in your seat. it allso has the #2 single Everybody (backstreet's back)extended mix and the smutchy song darlin. althow it does not contain thats what she said the onley song writen by a member of the groope on the uk relece but other than that ts in good shape and the lovely photos certanley help sales im shure Rating: - This album is simply the best!!!!The album kicks off with Everybody(backstreet's back) which is such a great song and if you know the dance routines to this it's even more better! As long as you love me and All I have to give will swoon you and That's the way I like it will rock you! If you want it to be good girl is just ace!And that's what she said is sang by Brian, and he has a brilliant voice!They are so talented! I love them all! |
