 Rating:  - One of the best ever!My little girl loved this and listened to it often. It was one of the few children's recordings that my husband and I enjoyed as much as she did. She's now an Au Pair in Spain and I'm sending her a copy to share with the little boys she takes care of. These songs are a lovely bit of American folk heritage for her to share with them, instead of Disneyana. Rating:  - Classic and funMy kids, now 5 and 3 love this album and have since they were toddlers. It's got some great classic folksongs on it, and Abiyoyo is a wonderful story-song. It's nice to have my kids listen to the classics in a different style than Disney, without worrying that any of it may be too old fashioned (as is the case on Pete Seeger's longer CD--"songs and songgames for children?" This always calms us down when we are crabby at the end of the day. I am logged on to give it to 2 friends. What higher praise is there than that? |
