A great album due to the pleasantly different and seductive voice of Gabriela Anders, perfectly suited to a Bossa Nova mood. She didn't quite manage to carry on the impetus with her follow-up album 'Last Tango In Rio" so 'Wanting' is definitely the one to go for. Seductive, sultry and very sexy - great for late night relaxation. Recommended.

You will hear a very soft voice. You cannot compare it with any other young jazz female singer's. Lisa Ekdahl's is too childish, Diana Krall's too masculin... Gabriela's voice and interpretation is my favourite. As for the songs on the album, on the other hand you may find them a bit ordinary for there is a massive supply of Bossanova tunes, these days. Well I think Gabriela's Girl from Ipenema is unique. There is no one song that may deceive you. All melodies are very well performed by the musicians in the band. Briefly this album is very soft, calm and elegant. Very well done...
