 Rating:  - Youths lost memoriesI bought this album originally in the 70's when it was released as an obscure piece of vinyl on the basis of This is Tomorrow, I never expected to like let alone enjoy the rest of the songs on here which really surprised me. I find it a shame that he never persued some of the style brought to life on these tracks and have only ever made this the solitary album in my collection by Ferry. Worth a listen for sure and more. Rating:  - FerryesqueI bought and enjoyed this album many years ago and there it has remained hidden in my CD collection since. Last night I was at the Nottingham Ferry gig where 'Love me madly again' was performed, it was awesome and reminded me how enjoyable the album was despite it being the start for me of Bryan Ferry's wilderness years. Following the fantastic period with Roxy Ferry seemed to drift and In your mind represents his last fling at rock almost Roxy style - their later albums had drifted more towards the style of In your mind. The re-visit of this now CD has been well worth it as always the production is excellent and there is not a dud track, I commend it very much to the reader. Rating: - Ferry's Forgotten GemIn Your Mind is one of the least well known albums in Bryan Ferry's extensive back catalogue. It is also without doubt the last of his truly great solo albums. Recorded in 1976, the album is unusual in that it was the first solo record to contain completely original, self-penned material. More importantly it was Ferry's final album before he discovered the mordant ease of pre-programmable keyboards. The two most famous tracks on this record, This Is Tomorrow and Tokyo Joe, are still brilliant songs. Better still, especially to the unfamiliar listener, are exceptional recordings such as All NIght Operator (my personal favourite), Love Me Madly Again and the title track itself.
