Editorial Review:
Amazon.co.uk Review: Five years before the release of ANThology, Alien Ant Farm befriended Papa Roach, then fellow strugglers on the Californian club circuit. Being from different ends of the state, the bands would swap and share. And so today, this relationship continuing, AAF find themselves the first signing to New Noise Records, the label Papa Roach set up via Dreamworks. That's what friends are for. AAF have furthermore strengthened their Roach connection (note also the shared interest in creeping six-legged things) by employing Jay Baumgardner, producer of their benefactors' Infest, to lend sheen to the noise. The result is occasionally samey, but generally excellent, with sweeping, soaring guitars ("Whisper", "Stranded") and occasional shuddering riffs ("Wish"), making AAF a less disturbed and disturbing version of Alice in Chains. Stand-outs include the opener, "Courage", led by Mike Cosgrove's off-kilter percussive clatter and Dryden Mitchell's winding, articulate lyrics (this combination recalls the much-missed Beyond): a chopping, pleading cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal": and "Flesh and Bone", a revved-up "Roxanne" suddenly overwhelmed by a tumult of guitars. With the tense "Attitude"--a sort-of updated Pearl Jam--AAF do attempt to change the mood and tempo, and one hopes they'll continue their sonic explorations. For now, ANThology is a potable aperitif. --Dominic Wills

I first heard the song Wish on Tony Hawks 3 and i knew i had to have the song and the album. I soon got the album and i havnt been able to stop listening to it since.
All the songs are in my opinoin fantastic, they are all powerful and sung with lots of emotion and vigour. Im a fan of rock music and this album has loud and strong metal chords in spades!
The songs like Flesh and Bone, Summer and Stranded are superb, there are also some hits like Smooth Criminal and Movies which you may have heard of already.
This album is a must have for anyone in posession of a CD player and a good pair of ears. It is one of my all time favourite CDs and is one i can just sit and listen to all the way through. anyone ... Read More:

Bought this album last Saturday on the basis of having seen 'Movies' and 'Smooth Criminal' on Kerang. Since then have not stopped playing this gem of an album. As others have written, there are a number of very good tracks in addition to the ones I mentioned earlier. If you like rock music then buy this one - you will not be disappointed.

This is undoubtedly one of the best CDs ever added to my collection, and I have a big collection... It surpasses all of my other CDs in terms of musical depth and emotion.
1. Courage- 9/10
This is a cool and energy- filled intro song. I particularly like the second guitar in the main riff.
2. Movies- 8/10
Another energetic song, demonstrating the quality of the guitar playing. It stands out from the rest of the CD, along with Smooth Criminal due to its lighter mood and easier tune.
3. Flesh and Bone- 10/10
Awesome musical depth and emotion in the chorus.
4. Whisper- 10/10
A very original song with cool heavy guitar riffs and a great chorus. ... Read More:

i bought this album when movies was first released (the one before!!!!! smooth criminal.) i found it to be a little hard to get into i came back to it 6 months later and now rate it as one of my favorites, it has some heavy rock but revolves around melodic metaphors, bottom line is you will enjoy or not get it!

Although I have had this album for ages I decide to review it.
AAF make an excellent sound the guitarist and bassist work very well together and that was the first thing I noticed about the band. The music is just plain rock with good vocals by someone who can actually sing unlike some singers in bands. The singles 'Smooth Criminal' and 'Movies' are great but don't be fooled into thinking that they are the best songs on the album.
Th first song Courage is excellent and my second favourite on the album behind Movies. Summer and Flesh and Bone are two more of the better songs on the album. Personally I dislike Whisper it dosn't sound musical and is the main reason why this album didn't get 5 stars. Sticks and ... Read More:
