 Rating: - Superb Soul SingerThe majority of people will have heard of Will Downing as he’s been around a long time having been a session singer with Rose Royce and Billy Ocean. His biggest hits were in the late eighties with Love Supreme and his interpretation of Denice Williams’s Free. This is a mid price offering of some of his more popular hits/covers and would be filed in the soul jazz category. The collection includesthe hits you would expect John Coltranes, A love Supreme which is one of my favourite records of all time, the love we share, giving it all to you a superb slice of soul with a killer bass line in the background.
