 Rating: - Mariah carey at her bestthis is a massive single i don't know why it hasn't got to no.1 as it really deserves to be. her voice is just so beautiful honestly it nearly made me cry. the video is also fantastic the bit mariah sings in the church is just so emotive, it's a classic. defenitely a buy one of mariah's finest songs ever. Rating: - Mariah is BACK!!!Despite all that happened to Mariah Carey in the past year or so, I believe that she is back strong. Her new song, Through the Rain, is a beautiful song that shows off the high notes that only Mariah can sing. From since I've heard and seen the video a few weeks ago, I can't stop singing the song. I'm so glad that Mariah has come back with her masterpiece ballads. I've missed them. I love her new single and I'll be one of the first peolpe to buy it early on Dec.2. I know her next album will be wonderful. I've been a true and loyal fan for years and I always will be. Rating: - back to basicsGlad to see Mariah doing what she does best. For a little while she went off track but she's back with a great ballad and a great video. If this is anything to go by then the new album should be just as good as her earlier ones. Nice to see her exercising those vocal cords properly. Welcome back Mariah!! Rating: - Brilliant! Mariah Does it AgainThrough The Rain is a beautiful ballard in the vein of Vision of Love and Hero. Mariah's voice is excellent as usual and the CD has further bonus's. The 2 remixes are good (I do not normally like remixed ballards) and brings 2 different flavours to the song. The Remix feat. Kelly Price and Joe is a very R&B/Soul and the Maurice Joshua Radio Remix is a fast version of the song that actually sounds "right". Also the CD includes the video which I personally think is beautifully shot and has a nice storyline. This CD single is well worth a listen and watch. Rating: - Mariah is back!Basically, like Through the Rain CD 1, this cd has some different remix, a must for fans! This single anticipates her newest album, called Charmbracelet out December 3rd. Through the Rain portrays difficulties in life, that can always be overcomed by struggling to find your inner strength and courage. "I can make it through the rain, I can stand up once again, on my own and I know that I'm strong enough to mend" Mariah always does a great job with the lyrics, she was born to do it. And what about her outstanding voice? Definitely worth buying, and I promise you, you'll never stop listening to it. |
