 Rating: - UmmmFound this band by accident and very pleasant surprise indeed. I won't go on an on like other reviewers but just to say if your into Client and early Goldfrapp give this one a go. Rating: - Just great electropop! I've just come back to this album after a couple of years or so and wow, does it sound good! Lack of tunes? Er...no!! This is an excellent piece of electro-pop. This is also a pretty influential album in retrospect given the sounds you got from the likes of Kylie and Madonna and other mainstream artists a year or so after release. Check out 'Flicking your switch', 'Turn it on', 'Cease2xist' and 'Blue Jeans'. It also has the sublime 'Evil' which is just a fabulous piece of melodic pop as you will hear anywhere. Great stuff. Not quite sure why they changed the cover though! |
