Living in Muscat/Oman, working in Abu Dhabi and Dubai/ U.A. Emirates, and travelling all over the Gulf region for business reasons I like to discuss with my Arabian friends and customers about music in both cultures, the Western (European and American) and the Oriental culture.
We enjoy to listen to the traditional -classic and to the modern pop music . My friends in Arabia deeply admire and truly appreciate TINA TURNER`s music!
........Why Is TINA TURNER famous?
Known for her incredible on-stage performances and charisma, Tina and her music have spanned 3 decades, with Proud Mary, What's Love Got To Do With It, and I Don't Wanna Fight.
TINA's SEXINESS:
With legs that can humble ... Read More:

If you're a fan of Tina Turner and looking for a greatest hits album, this is the one to go for. There are a few other "hits" compilations but this is undoubtedly the most complete. It has all of the best stuff and a few live versions too. Most importantly for me it has the track "Proud Mary" from her time with Ike. An excellent compilation of hits from a star of genuine quality.

The 2004 compilation `All The Best' is a more career spanning compilation than it's predecessor 'Simply The Best'. Although not covering any `Ike & Tina Turner' songs except for `Nutbush City Limits' in which the original recording appears and Proud Mary, which interestingly enough the 1993 Soundtrack Version appears. Also of course the Classic `River Deep, Mountain High', which no Tina Turner Compilation would be complete without. Also features on `Tina Live In Europe', which contains a Live Recording of the song, which I urge you to check out. The new songs are great contemporary pop tunes, however we also see amore laid back Tina with new cuts such as Something Special and Great Spirits from Disney's Brother Bear Soundtrack. Open Arms was ... Read More:

I absolutely adore Tina and all her albums (with the exception of 24/7). This compilation of hits is very impressive. It's well done and the songs are well chosen. The old, older and new songs follow eachother perfectly. Tina's music has certainly withstood the test of time. But, for me, there are two downsides. Why isn't Whatever You Want, Break Every Rule and One of the living on the album?? And the Booklet is one of the worst i've seen. Although the pictures are nice, i would've liked some information on the songs, or a biography, or discograpy, a little word to the fans, SOMETHING. These are the only reasons I'm not giving this album 5 stars.

Me & my partner are great fans of Tina. We have lots of her albums. We love the new 'Open Arms' song.... & were thus inspired to buy another new album. There have been repeated releases on other albums before - some of which are fair enough. Still, we would have hoped that this album could have extended its originality a little further & included some less recorded numbers - such as some of the rarer stage performance songs.... special releases. Well, suppose we may live to see it, else I would just still hope to hear such from 'spirit land.'
