 Rating: - Top compilationI'm amazed that this CD has only had one review, as this is a great compilation. To me this vol 3 along with vol 7 is the best of the cafe del mar series. Easy listening and a harmonious mix with some piano music a la cafe style, some light techno, a few dance tracks, some ambient and some jazzy tunes. Uplifting and worth listening to. Rating: - A great start into Cafe Del MarThis was the very first CD I ever bought by the Cafe Del Mar maestro's and this is the one that got me totally hooked into buying all of the series. I stumbled across it in a sale bin at my local CD store having never heard of them before and I am so glad I bought it. The result of my actions then started my collection of superb CD's by the Cafe Del Mar crew.Having never been to Cafe Del Mar. You will love this album......simply put! I hope my happy accident turns into yours too like it did mine! Rating:  - The first but not the bestThis is a great cd to own. Its in a way legendary. The tunes are good altough not great. I used to own it when it first came out but decided to buy it again since I had lost it. I would definitely say that Cafe del Mar has evolved and changed throught the years, so dont expect to get a vol 8 style cd. Its chill-out music in its beginning form. The sounds are not extensively remixed so you will get a lot of plain instruments and vocals. Still a great buy for me, I always wanted to own it. Rating: - MastersThe french guy Jose Padilla has a talent i first got into cafe del mar on Vol.7.Which is not hes best at all i dont think.At the moment i feel this could be my favorite its better than vol.2,vol5, and maybe vol.6. Jazzy tribal funky and smooth probably near best chilled music ever along with Enigma. Just amazing ideal to work to as well my gran and granpa love it it goes done a treat where ever get it. |
