 Rating: - Predictable but fun.Saw this DVD in my local store and thought it looked like the sort of thing i'd enjoy (i like my horror!) and got it out. I really liked it. Story centres around, bunch of good-looking college kids on their way to spring break take a 'detour' and end up in the ironically named southern town of 'Pleasent Valley'. After initially welcoming the strangers into their small town by the seemingly hospitable if slightly strange inhabitants, who persuade them to stay and take part in their 'GUTS AND GLORY' festival, the group soon begin to suspect something is wrong as members of their party start to get separated from the rest and go missing. The storyline is amazing and so well done and preformed 5 stars for definate ONE OF THE BEST HORROR FILMS EVER MADE Rating:  - predicable...yet entertaining...a friend at work let me borrow the DVD...and I thought " here we go, another cheesey tacky comedy/horror..and that was what it was ! but robert Englund make the film really good...Id recommend this film for sure... Rating: - Keep your tongue firmly in your cheek!!Robert Englund is always Freddy and probably always will be, but this is the only film he has been in since where this works as a positive. This is a disgusting, overplayed, gorefest, but it is also hysterically funny with some moments of pure genius. HOWEVER.... you must watch with an open mind. It is not Oscar material nor does it try to be. It is predictable and it is not well written. It could be considered a bonus that most of the actors have not been seen in anything else, but in a strange quirky way this all works in its favour. It is oddly transfixing, all stereotypes are displayed and exploited to their fullest extent and if you enjoy it I would definately not lend this with a recommendation to your Mum and Dad, ...
