 Rating:  - It's a Shame...It really is a shame to see this band in such a state. What happened to them on those last two albums? Everything that was right about their first three albums just went so drastically wrong, by their standards, on Mezmerize and Hypnotize. And then, of course, came this EP. I don't think I could have been more disappointed by a choice in single. It doesn't tell a new listener anything about System of a Down - only a whole lot about Daron Malakian and how utterly irritating his voice is. Admittedly, the other tracks on this EP are rather brilliant. The cover of Snowblind is a rare treat, considering their lack of recorded cover songs, as is the track "Shame" which is, certainly, an usual collaboration. But on the whole, this single, ... Read More: Rating: - What?In my most humble opinion, lonely day is a belter of a track that fully warants being released as a single. Its tracks like this that prove system to be such a good, multi dimensional band. Overall the EP is top notch. My favourite track being "snowblind". Just get it guys. A more than worthy piece in your personal puzzle! Rating:  - Lonely DayAlthough I agree with the last reviewer that this isn't the best track to release as a single, the EP overall is excellent and it is great to get some hard to find tracks in one place. I especially like 'Metro' with it's slower verse and heavier chorus, just great. You can often find this at a good price and for fans of SOAD you can't go far wrong. Worth a buy. Rating: - not bad, though for hardcore fans onlythis is a bad choice for a singles ep, no hypnotize songs should've been released as singles as its only good when listened to as an album. the single lonely day is definetly not the best choice off hynotize (try "Kill rock n' roll" or "holy mountains") though this is made up for by the fact that the rare songs are actually quite good, notably "shame" (teamed up with the Wu-Tang Clan) and "marmalade". I'm a massive S.O.A.D. fan, and this ep really is only for us few who love all their music, though you could track down all of these rare tracks over the internet (and more with a song about the legend of zelda videogames out there), this may very well be their last work relesed, as the rumours go at the time of this publish. ...
