This is a great pop album. I really don't know - Is LeAnn a country singer or a pop singer - or both? Well, this album is pure pop album apart from "Everybody's Someone" which is a country song. The songs are amazing and LeAnn has a beautiful voice.

Here comes a new album from LeAnn Rimes. Surprisingly, it is an import from Europe, not released in the USA. Still, listeners and fans on both sides of the Atlantic would certainly 'wanna' this CD as it would give plenty of joy and positive thrills. We know LeAnn Rimes to be a country star, who sometimes goes crossover, like on her "Twisted Angel" album (strangely shunned by critics), which was in the vast majority a pop thing. Then she returned to country with her previous "This Woman", which was to the vast majority a country thing. We know LeAnn Rimes to successfully go between the two styles, playing on both fields.
"Whatever We Wanna" is certainly on the pop field, with practically no country, although some tag it in this category. ... Read More:

Mike (@ Finland, North Europe) Ignoring all the bad reviews about this album i need to say:
1. Destructive: the best track, please more like this, the winner
2. Rumour 'bout a revolution: very very good, second best
3. And it feels like: sad but jewel song, deserves to be third
4. Satisfied: catchy, earned the fourth place
5. Headphones: nothing country, but a good pop
6. For the first time: sad but beautiful
7. Save myself: ok
8. Whatever we wanna: good but too simple chorus
9. Everybody's someone: beautiful ballad .. whoever is the male singer
10. A little more time: Vinnie Colaiuta!
11. Break me down: nice one
12. Strong: ok
13. Long night: ok
14. Some people: ... Read More:

Rimes' latest release is exactly what a fan could expect it to be - I agree with the other review here saying its a lot more like Twisted Angel than This Woman. It has a mix of upbeat tracks and the traditional ballads one would expect from LeAnn.
My favourites include Headphones - an addictive dance track, Long Night - a beautiful song which still delivers awesome lyrics without becomming sappy or too heartbreaking, Destructive - a powerful and angry song which I LOVE, and Save Myself - another one of those trademark LeAnn ballads.
I love most of the album, with the few exceptions being This Life (which seems a little slow) and the title track Whatever We Wanna (which for some reason reminds me of a Shania Twain track) - but these ... Read More:

This is a brilliant album from a hugely talented artist,
it has a great mix of different types of music, from the rock/pop sound of "Satisfied", the dance beat of "headphones" to the softer ballad of "Strong" and the rockier sound of "destructive".
Just great, especially considering her writing took form so much on this album.
Her last country album was brilliant and so is this, her voice is still one of, if not, the most beautifull instrument i've heard in mainstream music.
