 Rating:  - back to basics6th in Classic Rock Albums of the year. Best thing the boys done in ages. Sounds like they had a ball. Up there with the best of their 70's stuff. Every track rocks like a good 'un. Rating:  - Dear Oh DearDidnt find this album that good from the Quo while the songs are loud I didnt feel they captured the great beat that was on The Heavy traffic album which to me is a lot better.If your a big Status Quo fan you will no doubt enjoy this work.Sorry to only give one star here just didnt enjoy this album feel they should have gone back to the formula that works for them twelve bar rock and its what they do best.To sum up not a great album and cant believe some reviewers give this album 5 stars saying its the best,get real and go and listen to albums like Hello,Quo,Dog Of Two Head,Piledriver etc In Search Of The Fourth Chord dosent come anywhere close to these classic Quo albums.To me the band were never the same when they ousted Alan Lancaster who ... Rating: - Why search for what is not lostAfter some careful consideration about this album, I have to say that apart from Heavy Traffic this is the best thing the Quo have done for a long time. I particularly enjoyed the blusier tracks which just goes to show this bands versatility. Pennsylvania blues tonight and Electric Arena really hit a sweet spot. There is something for all Quo fans here typical Quo stuff but mixed very nicely. At the risk of upsetting hardcore I think Pip Williams has actually done a very nice job on this album. I too have followed the trials and tribulations of this band over the years and I still get the buzz when going to see them, four times last year, listening to them on some radio stations at least(unlike waste of space BBC). Whilst they still enjoy doing ... Read More: Rating:  - Treading WaterAs the owner of well over 70 quo releases both official and not so I have to say that this latest release is average at best. As a quo fan for over 30 years I have realised some time ago that they are a live band only and lost the ability or passion to write decent songs a long time ago. In their prime they were a hard rocking blues based band but after a pop induced hiatus which lasted throughout the 80s and 90's there was always the hope that they would drift back into the blues genre. Whilst one or two tracks show some of the spark, most notably on the Parfit tracks I'm afraid Mr Rossi has seriously lost the plot. However, my biggest gripe is with that god awful cover !!
