Put simply if you like quality underground music then this is the mix for you. Its dark, its moody, its Digweed at his finest. The first 5 tracks alone are worth your admission fee.
I've purchased various top draw mix CD's over the years, Digweed - Bedrock, Sasha - Ibiza, Terry Francis - Architecture and this is right up there with them. As you expect the mixing/layering is faultless, without doubt makes the mix what it is, the track selection is spot on as you'd expect.
All I can say is buy it, play it loud, again and again and again.
I'm off to get my tickets for Nov 17 in Manchester...Enjoy

Every Transitions gets better and more (for the want of a better expression - 2am'ee!)....real stomping dancefloor stuff from Digweed....nothing boring or dull or monotonous....this Set at first listen blew me away (which is very tough to do) and then the more listens the more you appreciate what a true talent this DJ is amongst fallen "legends" and others who havent stuck to their roots of style of the music they played years ago...understanding that trends & technology have played their part, but Digweed seems to be the only DJ around today that has stayed true to his beliefs that good proggy dance music is still around and just as amazing as it has ever been.
I cannot rate this disc highly enough, not purely for the Digweed ... Read More:

1).Pitch It by Plasmik
2).Piknic Bugz by Soliquid.
Put Pitch It on your MP3 and hit the treadmill - fantastic take my word for it & get fit at the same time. Trust me - some good health advice too !
Piknic Bugz has a great start & the rest is pretty good too. The more you get familiar with it the more you will appreciate it - guaranteed.

Oh well, one may thing, stuff a 20+ songs on a remix album and you get another 'Closer to the Cut' by Richie Hawtins, or even the GU efforts by Layo and Bushwacka (what a disaster that was), but no...this has been a huge surprise. Joh Digweed has set its name with earlier releases of the labels as Renaissance and GU, but surprisingly, the repeat button on my MP3 player has been found again. The immense variety of darker trance (especially the tracks on no 5) to the fresh new approach of what Digweed is doing, has made this almost a floor filler. And that is something you do not expect form from the Transitions. One and two had its highlights (where one was slightly better built that two), three was a too simple an album with loads of minimalistic ... Read More:
