 Rating:  - Fun but flawedIt took me a lot of listens to finally decide what I thought of this album. When I first started it up, having heard the first track 'Paralyzer' and being quite excited about the more funk based, bouncy style, I was initially disappointed. It seems that with this album the lyrics have taken a step backwards, they aren't as clever or as thoughtful as previously. There is far more repetition than I feel comfortable with, especially in an album that's only 41 minutes long, which makes it seem like there is a final heavier and faster song missing from the tail end of the album. This could be because the quieter songs just don't have the same impact as those from the last album, or that the heavier songs just sound so much better. However ... Read More: Rating:  - Must buy of 2007I own a couple of finger eleven albums and have always thought they were good and on the verge of great. With this album, the cool mix of catchy rock songs with some very funky riffs mixed in has made a great set of songs. This is in comparison to some more mellow soft songs where the musicianship of the band has realy improved with more experimental guitar work. A really good album, i was suprised at the quality. A must buy for fans and anyone with a taste in rock songs with good guitar backing and good vocals! Well, first of all Finger Eleven are a band which keep evolving and changing, from the Kick ass metal of Greyest of Blue Skies to the pop rock tendancies of the self titled album; their catagory is hard to define as they continue to change, and now in 2007 we get the release of Them Vs. You Vs. Me. (Amazon got the name wrong lol). Once again this album is unlike any album the band have produced before, it has its own unique sound and feel, personally i think its great.
