 Rating: - Stargate rocks!My first hi-def movie! Very god choice as all the scenes benefit from being in hi-def. You totally notice every detail, from the desert sun glowing on the alien's headdress, to the stargate itself (which looks amazing) The story is decent as well, a lot of critics complain about the characters having no development, but i say ignore it, who wants to watch a film about some jerkwod super person, when a film about ordinary people like you & me is a lot more appealing on a personal level. If you own a ps3 & are looking for a blu ray purchase, this is it! Rating: - STARGATE This 1993 film is one of the few films not made in Hi-def to make the grade by being transferred onto Blu-Ray. Colours glow as does the overall detail of the sets and costums. The sound track in DTS HD is excellent. If only all transfers were up to this standard. Rating: - The beginning and ending of worlds, infinity and eternityDr. Daniel Jackson (James Spader of "Wolf" 1994 popularity) does the unthinkable by even suggesting that The Ancient Egyptian Civilization may have been influenced by outside influences, very outside influences. This runs off all inquiries to his theories. But wait it looks like some one is interested in his cryptology abilities. Catherine Langford (Viveca Lindfors) had a secret that her daddy found years ago. Her secret will change the life of Daniel and Col. Jonathan 'Jack' O'Neil (Kurt Russell). Turns out that they will have a mission that will take them on a sojourn to the other end of the known universe. We go with them. What will we find and will we be able to bet back?
