Editorial Review:
Amazon.co.uk Review: If you liked this bunch's self-titled debut, you will certainly dig the dozen raunchy tunes that populate Time Bomb. Wiry, wild Joshua Todd--a classic blues-belting, tattoo-bearing frontman--possesses a gift for irony that, while not easily gleaned, does exist. Behind him, guitars grind away, while big production by John Travis (Monster Magnet, Sugar Ray) helps create a believable street-grit feel that recalls early Guns N' Roses. The Sex Pistols-like "Place in the Sun" is a winner, as is the full-tilt "Frontside" and the suitably nasty "Porno Star". Moreover, there are even a couple decent ballads. At its hard core, Time Bomb is that rare breed--an in-your-face, aggressive rock album that shows off a wonderful (and too rare) punk rock sensibility. --Katherine Turman

The first album was great. Lots of great riffs in a Janes Addition/AC/DC mode making it a must have. A shame that 'time bomb' is such a pale comparison being a virtual rerun without the songs. It's not bad by any means its just too, well samey. It opens well enough with 'frontside' and the best track 'place in the sun' but by the half way mark it just gets well, tedious and the dull acoustic closer 'fall' just doesn't work. Maybe if i'd heard this first i would think differently but it seems Buck Cherry are like a lot of heavy rock bands and capable of only one top notch album.

I caught 30 seconds of Buckcherry performing 'Nasty' on a MTV special tribute to Janet Jackson last week. Those 30 seconds were enough to prompt me into purchasing this amazing album. The last record I bought that contained so many fantstic songs was G&R Appetite For Destruction. This is every bit as good. There are no album 'fillers' on offer here.Every song is an absolute joy! I have already ordered their self titled debut album and can't wait til it arrives. Rock Music Lives!!!!!!

When you thought nu-metal and rap was taking over the world, Buckcherry have exploded our eardums with the long-awaited follow up to their debut masterpiece album. Tracks such as Frontside, Ridin and Slammin epitimise what rock is about, and these tracks are balance well by Segue and You; softer ballads. A MUST BUY FOR ALL ROCK FANS!

This must be the best rock album since the great nine lives album by aerosmith. This album rocks with the best of them. stand out tracks are Ridin', whisky in the morning, porno star and fall. The guitar work by Yogi and Keith Nelson is just as good as Slash And Izzy/Gilby from GNR. Josh Todd Can Kick the asses off any other singer, his vocals on this album are just as good if not better than there debut album.
All the song's on this album should be in the top 10. This is a must buy for any GNR, Skid Row, Kiss Fan. Rock N Roll at its best!!!!!!

After I heard buckcherry described as 'the new guns n' roses', I was more than mildly impressed, guns... being my favourite band ever. Their first album was meant to be great so I listened to a few tracks and loved them. This one is even better though. The first single, ridin, is fantastic, and shows exactly what the album is like. The best track is whiskey in the morning, which is an absolute classic. However there are such tracks like time bomb and slit my wrists to back these tracks up, which show joshua todd as a more than competent rock vocalist. This band is very similar to backyard babies, who are also bring out some cracking music, and I totally recommend this album.
