I first heard Bryn doing a stint on GMTV and then again [within the same week] and was very impressed with his style and vocal range - this naturally urged me to look him up on Amazon. Upon receiving the CD I have played it numerous times usually on my car CD player. I find his music, and the up beat of several tracks very toe tapping! Love 'Found a New Love' very funky caribean feel!

With Bryn Christopher, it's very much Gnarls Barkley meets Amy Winehouse.
Some songs are dark, sensual and passionate while others manage to explode from the speakers in an array of delightful pop, soul, r n b and jazz.
The opening single, Help Me is a fast paced bout of jazzed up dance which immediately gets the feet tapping, setting you up for the album's notoriously slick track lineup.
And the haunting smilin' may remind fans of Gnarls Barkley's summer smash hit Crazy, especially with its cool drum beat, modest riff and insanely catchy hook. The track is easily comparable to Barkley's crazy and arguably remains the album's dark horse.

I first saw BC performing on a music channel, doing The Quest. I loved this song straight away and it made me look him up and download the song. Then when I realised there was an album as well I had to get that too! All the songs are fantastic and if you like the clip on the Amazon page then you will love the whole album. Buy it!

Bryn Christopher has arrived and taken classic soul vibe originated by soul greats of yesterday year, think Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave etc and brought it back with a noughties twist. Bryn's vocals can match those of the great artists such as Gnarls Barkley and Terence Trent D'arby. Bryn has created a good solid album which drags you in and won't let you go until the song in your head. My favourites being the opener"help me", "found a new love", and the singles "smilin" and "The Quest". Bryn along with fellow brits Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Adele and Joss Stone bringing back classic soul to the music world, and being a fellow brummie adds extra bonus.
