 Rating: - The benchmark by which all other Big Bands should be judgedGordon Goodwin has assembled a group of truly world class musicians, in technical ability, in their ability to blend with each other to form the glorious sounds on this album and in their ability to just SWING!! This is their best release since 'Swingin' For The Fences' and is anything but background music - from the opening number, this music grabs you and refuses to let go. Forget toe-tapping, it'll have you dancing around your home like some kind of maniac. Where Goodwin's band comes alive is in the sheer energy they put into each track - even the slower numbers have a tangible electricity to them.
