 Rating:  - ANNOYEDI agree with the 2 previous reviews. This is the 2nd time Kings of Leon (or at least their record company) have done this. I had to buy Because of the Night twice because the 2nd copy they released had a full dvd concert and now they've done the same with Only by the Night...at least Because of the Night was a longish concert, this is only 5 songs and definitely NOT worth purchasing twice. If you are one of those lucky people who have just discovered Kings of Leon with their new found success, then by all means by this version. But for us longstanding fans, its nothing but sheer annoyance and aggravation for the money making machine that KOL have become. Rating:  - ROCK AND ROLL This is a trully great album - many buyers of the first 2 KOL albums will have already given up on the band at the Because of The Times stage stage of their career (album 3) as they found great production and went for the middle ground (winning awards as they went) but those pretentious fans are missing out. One of the best live bands I've seen - ever - out of over 2,000 gigs - and only the fans will buy this CD with free DVD - but so what? Sell your old one on Amazon or give it away as Xmas gift! The other 2 reviewers here are being stingey! Rating: - Record Companies GreedI have to agree with another reviewer below. When are they going to stop robbing fans pockets in regards to their favourite bands. In the case of this CD I purchased it and then they bring out a new version 2 weeks later. Go and Spin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rating: - THANKS FOR THE RIP OFFTHIS IS WHY THE RECORD INDUSTRY IS SUFFEREING! NOBODY WILL BUY ALBUMS STRAIGHTAWAY IF THEY KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE REISSUESD WITH A BONUS DISC NOT LONG AFTER. LUCKILY I GOT THE ORIGINAL ALBUM FREE WITH STORE POINTS BUT I DON'T THINK ANYBODY WHO BOUGHT IT FULL PRICE WILL BE HAPPY. |
