Her last album 'A Love Supreme' has to be one of the most polished, consist efforts of recent times. Appearances on Soundtracks to the likes of 'Waiting to Exhale' and 'Stella got her Groove back' and 'Romeo must die' don't seem to have raised her profile any, and yet she blows the likes of Aaliyah, Janet, Mariah etc clean away. This album while not to the same 5* standard of 'Love Supreme' is a gem! The head-bobbing gospel tinged 'Chante's got a man' is a surprisingly low key choice for the first single but the rest of the album (which utilizes production from the likes of Rodney 'Jennifer - Destiny's Child - Toni Braxton' Jerkins and 'Jackson faves' Jam ...
