Favorite Nursery Rhymesby: Genius Products Release Date I came across this selection of nursery rhymes quite by chance, having already tried a few of the Kootie Bear Collection which I find just too saccharine and corny, and this since become a firm favourite with our baby and the rest of the family, too. Raggedy Ann and Andy have produced a brilliant selection of old favourites, and every song is sung in a beautiful way, and the accompaniment and speed of delivery is very good, too (not too fast, like some compilations, and not to sentimental, either). Their style could be defined as "retro" with more than a touch of drama - it sounds almost like they made the recording in the 1940s, which for me works brilliantly when combined with nursery rhymes.
