. Moonflower Laneby: Ty Tabor Release Date July 30, 2001 Ty Tabor has been guitarist with the underated Texan power trio Kings X for over a decade, producing many fine rock albums. With this solo outing he has created a whole album of the lighter more pop-oriented side of Kings X, and with it's overall feeling of optimism and sincerity it is an enjoyable and uplifting listen throughout. Opening with 'I Do' with it's joyous guitar riff and upbeat lyrics, Ty's guitar and vocal skills are used to full effect on this album, especially halfway through with the up-tempo 'The Truth'. As with his band Kings X, Ty's singing voice and songwriting brings comparisons to the Beatles, and deservedly so.
