Dialogueby: Four Tet Release Date October 01, 1999 kieran hebden is a nice man. if he wasn't i would still say that this album is good. because it is. even though there are some pretty scary sounds in here - i am sure i heard a hamster falling down stairs - they are mostly wrapped up in melodies and lovely skittering beats. i read somewhere that kieran doesn't have days off because he likes making music so much. maybe he should have more days off because then he would have more time to question whether honky sax madness is always a good thing. because it isn't. however, i am glad that he exists because without him hamsters would get less work and would have to spend all day in their cages and that would be sad. this however is lovely! |
