. Red Headed Stranger/to Lefty from Willieby: Willie Nelson Release Date July 12, 1999 This is one of those rare pieces that is a set of ballads within a ballad, shaped as an album. I bought this when it first came out in vinyl and thought it one of the best set's I'd heard, and for me, the best Willie Nelson has ever done (all of it is great). Having been raised in the west and lived in Montana, the music resonates the country it describes. If you are a Willie fan and don't have a copy of this, I can't understand why. |
