. Alien Love Secretsby: Steve Vai Release Date April 03, 1995 Bloody hell! This guy can play guitar. I'm well aware of many fantastic guitarists (Clapton, Hendrix, May, Gilmour, Marr, Satriani, etc), but Steve Vai is something else. Never have I heard such speed, precision and clarity. 'Juice' is just sublime, and 'Tender surrender'? Beautiful. 'Ya-Yo Gakk' features a riff based around his infant son's baby speak, and 'Bad Horsie' shows Vai playing his guitar like a furious Mustang. If you want to hear a guitar talk, then check out Steve Vai, who, in this humble reviewers opinion, is absolutely second to none. (Let the arguments commence!). |
