. See the Lightby: Jeff Healey Release Date September 02, 1995 I was sad to hear of Jeff Healeys death recently. I remember going to see him live in the late 1980's and was hooked immediately. his energetic and unusual style was engrossing, and when he launched into 'see the light' which features on this album, it blew everyone away. I think this debut album remains his best work. I was looking forward to seeing him in London In April, promoting his new album which is a return to blues after his Jazz work of more recent years, but it is not to be. I hope the new album serves as a fittng epitaph. |
