. Bad Attitudeby: Meat Loaf Release Date December 04, 1993 Meat Loaf's fourth album was released a year after its (for me) disappointing predecessor. This is better! A little brief at 39 minutes with no 'long' songs, it is written by Sarah Jacobs and Paul Durkee, except that two Steinman tracks are featured: 'Surf's Up' is certainly a high point of the album and was the first track that Meat recorded from Steinman's own 'Bad For Good' album. Meat would susequently record more tracks from 'Bad To Good' and make a much better job of them vocally than Steinman. On this album, Meat's voice in finally back on top form and he powerfully delivers some cracking rock tracks. For me, the last three songs do it. You'll also find the single 'Modern Girl'. |
