. Sweet Dreams [VINYL]by: Sword Release Date Sword's 2nd and final release in 1988, Sweet Dreams, is not to be understated. It opens with a slow-ish track, by Sword standards, then lets rip time after time for another 9 tracks. The 2 albums they released had a total of 20 tracks. ALL are very very good tracks, whilst some are truly great. Nothing pop, nothing floppy, nothing poser-ish, nothing affected, nothing but heavy rocking, power metal with touches of melody this 4-piece were absolutely explosive. Anti-religion, anti-war, totally rebellious, positive, life-affirming, stand-up and FIGHT BACK lyrics. You just know these 4 were the real spirit of metal.
