Amarantineby: Enya Release Date November 21, 2005 I am a very big fan of Enya and have been for many years.I have to say though that I consider 'Amaratine' to be one of her weaker efforts.Although we know just what we will get from her music,this album at times feels almost too predictable and almost sluggish. Of course there are some moments of excellence,there always are from her.'Amarantine' and 'It's In The Rain' are Enya at her very best but if I am being honest I do in general find this album to be a bit of a let down.She is a top drawer talent to be sure but Enya has done much better than this.For any other artist this would be a good effort but for what I have come to expect from Enya it is average.Still,it does have it's moments. |
