. To Elliott from Portlandby: Elliott Smith Release Date April 17, 2006 ...a beautiful cover of "The Biggest Lie" which I prefer even to the original. Although most of the bands here are not that well known outside the Portland area - The Decemberists probably being the biggest name - these are generally great covers of Elliott's songs. Of course, they had a good start with the material, but this is very worthwhile.... |
