Full Circleby: Walter Trout Release Date June 26, 2006 Many years had passed , more than 10 , I found myself in November 2006 in a crowded pub venue in Sheffield wondering how Walter Trout was faring ; remembering even longer back and John Mayall with yet another guitar man . Some things pass all understanding ; let's just say that I enjoyed that gig, and not from nostalgia . It was as fresh as first hearing . Guitarists know what Trout is ; the wider public probably has heard of Clapton. Let's just say that sometimes he wishes he could play with the verve and optimism that Trout and Mayall still do , in little gigs , like young men , just because you have to , and it's who you are.
