Lampsby: Lamps Release Date August 06, 2007 I picked this record up when I stumbled across a review that described them as being a cross between Flipper, the Electric Eels and the early Cramps (all bands I love). To my total astonishment I wasn't in the least disappointed by it. It does carry a flavour of all of those bands but it also has something special and unique. I hold the Lamps in the same high regard as another new favourite of mine, Pissed Jeans. If you a fan of any of those bands (or any bands along those lines) you won't be angry that you parted your cash. |
