Zombie Live: Parental Advisoryby: Rob Zombie Release Date October 22, 2007 In a genre that is often awash with sub standard bands attempting to copy Rob Zombie's style, it is fitting that this, his final album is a live recording and what an excellent album it is. I have witnessed the live experience of Zombie myself during his White Zombie days and as this album showcases, he is an amazing performer and his live material transfers amazingly to the stage. Backed up by the guitar talents of John 5 ex - marilyn manson, the sound is crisp and the music is tight. Zombie's old material sounds as fresh as when it was recorded and this is sliced with his best stuff from educated horses. My only grumble is that the live set did not include the excellent 'Iron head' from Sinister Urge. Read More: |
