. The Epby: Tom Baxter Release Date May 17, 2004 I bought this CD on the strength of hearing 'my declaration' once on Jonathon Ross' radio show. After waiting for the release date I have not been disappointed, the song is as beautiful, anthemic and tender as I remembered. You can't ask for more than this - it is musically and lyrically poignant, memorable and enjoyable to be swept up in. Tom Baxter has a gentle and worn vocal delivery that is engaging and affecting. The build up from a bare acoustic sound at the beginning of the track to the orchestral strings at the crescendo really grabs the listener and holds onto the heartstrings.
