- If I Could Give This CD 0/5 I Would!!!
This album is really, really poor! I'm not an enormous fan of Blink 182, but I do appreciate some of their recent work. I found that the self titled album, Enema and Take Off Your Pants were full of uplifting, musical songs. This album shows how the band's music has evolved from this stripped-down, sped-up version of Blink 182, with a very unmusical, whiney and tinny sound. Basically, this is like listening to a very fast, annoyingly non-mellodic version of a decent US Punk band like Lagwagon or Ten Foot Pole.
I give each song on my WM Player a rating out of 5, all of these songs got 1s and 1.5s except Time which I generously gave 2 Sorry if this review offends Blink 182 purists but really this is poor music. I would certainly recommend Take Off Your Pants And Jacket over this. What you can do is listen to their Greatest Hits album and observe how naff the first track Carousel is compared to the other tracks on the album. My point is, avoid spending money on this album.

I think that "Buddha" is a good album and all but I really dont think that the recordings that good. The songs rock, my favourite 2 would be track 6 (I'm listening to it right now) "Romeo & Rebecca" because well I don't know why it just happens to be 1 of my faves and track 1 "Carousel", I think that the singings brill in that song and the music. Other songs r good aswell, I like them all. So if you've not got it yet go ahead and get it!!

Blink 182 are now known for being a band who can write awesome songs with a brilliant drummer, awesome guitar and bass riffs, with both tom and marks rad singing which all togather just makes blink 182, The album kicks off with a teenage anthem - carousel and all the way through supplies stunning peices of music the recording sound isn't like they have now but the songs are still brilliant i recomend you buy this and look how far blink 182 have come but still, there is that thing they have that they have never lost, please please buy this album it rocks!!! If you can try to get hold of the original aswell it's the same good songs but recorded in tom's garage, through a P.A so you can imagine the sound and poor tom's voice when he was only 16, mark wasnt any better really either!!!! anyway peace! rock on and ill see u at wembly arena on february 6th ill probably be crowdsurfing on your head! say hi

Buddha is the first album of Blink 182. This is a new version, digitally remixed and remastered. Apart from the hit single "Carousel", this album contains the following songs: T.v., Strings, Fentoozler, Time, Romeo & Rebecca, 21 Days, Sometimes, Point of view, My pet Sally, Reebok commercial, Toast & bananas, The girl next door, and Don't. All in all, it is a great cd, proof of Blink's amazing punk rock music in their very beginning. A must have for your collection, whether you are blink 182 fan, or just a punk rock music maniac!

I can't understand why people are saying this album is great, its good and sounds like blink but the recording is really poor and even though it has been digatally remastered the sound quality still isn't that good.
The vocals of Tom are shoddy and at times make you cover up your ears. Mark does slightly better but not leaps and bounds.
What saves this album from being awful is the fact that the songs are great and if blink performed them now they would sound good.
Carousel and 21 days are my favourite songs and the album is consistant with its standard throughout and you'll find after a few listens you'll be singing along.
The album definately dose't compare with Dude Ranch, Enema of the state or take of your pants and jacket.
This album is worth buying and it isn't awful at all but don't be fooled into thinking its like recent blink material, the band have improved loads and loads. The music on the album is of a poor sound quality but the actual songs are good.
