.....that's how amazing it is !. Like the first reviewer,this reminds me of a love, long gone. This music will break your heart, even during the happiest times of your life. It is that powerful and moving. I can honestly say that i will never listen to it again. Beautiful.....Wonderful..... Perfect.....

You know, one in a while u come across an album which is much more than just a body of work released by an artist, but something which marks a very important time in ur life, and for me this album is one (if not one of the most important) of these. My first memory of this album is seeing the video for 'Almost made you Smile' on irish TV around '94 or so and from then I was hooked, it was played quite a bit on irish TV, I remember one time enjoyin' the video and we had a powercut - gutted! But anyway I had a vague idea who they were but had real trouble coming across the album, until I stumbled upon it in a local record shop and bought it for my girlfriend at the time, i've bought this album several times for myself and as gift for other people (it's that good!).
I've seen them a number of times live and they get better every time.
Check out 'Consent' also, I think both these albums are quite similar only 'Consent' has got a bit more mixing and more money put into the recording. 'Waiting' is also good, but my least favourite of the three (maybe because the girlfriend i mentioned bought it for me just before we broke up - tragic!)

The tunes weave themselves around the mechanics of your emotions leaving you adrift in a becalmed ocean of conciousnes whilst the lyrics make you keep turning musical pages in your mind. when you have experienced this thing of beauty you will be ready to move onto the even better second album "waiting"
