- Absolutely brilliant
This is an album that is worth buying...brilliant!!! listening to it makes u ready to face the day...i dont buy album that much, coz i tend to b dissapointed with the content but this album from the 1st song till the last is absolutely brilliant!!!
Rating: - An Amazing Album From An Amazing Group
My first introduction to the Scissor Sisters occured when Babydaddy and Jake came and performed "Take Your Mamma Out" at my school. Even without accompaniment beyond guitar it was amazing. As soon as I could I ran out and bought the album, and I have been nothing but pleased with every song on it.
Rating: - At last something fresh.
After hearing their first single I waited with baited breath for their album to hit the shores and I can say that without a doubt that the Scissor Sisters have pumped something new, fresh and exciting into the pop scene. The whole album will have your feet tapping and heading shaking. There is not a a poor track on this album. If your going to buy one album this year make sure it's this.

When Comfortably Numb was first relesed I was not too sure about the band. As more and more mates told me how good the album was, i had to listen for myself. I am so glad I purchased the album, its fantastic and i think everyone can relate to one or more tracks. Mary is the track that I link to my mates and who have been through the horrible cycle of depression and feeling worthless! Mary sums up how mates need to react when you are feeling low! Laura and Take Your Muma Out are all cool singles! Filthy Gorgeous is equally brilliant! Rest of the album also great! Hope the follow up does not dissappoint!

This album is FANTASTIC!! I wanted to buy this album a couple of months ago and when I finally did I only had to play it once to realise I was going to play it until it got worn out!!!
Laura- The single that we all know. Very boppy tune and one that you just can't stop singing throughout the day. A very catchy beat. I found it was overplayed on the local radios. 7/10
Take your Mama- Love the guital playing and the beat in this tune. This track also has a catchy tune and some good lyrics!!! 7/10
Comfortably Numb- This song is great. I think it sounds a bit like the Beegees and yet again a very catchy tune. The song sounds more of an old tune but i love it! 8/10
Mary- One of the reasons why I bought the album. At the time this song was released the lyrics to this sond actually meant something to me and I still love it now!! I will never get bored of this brilliant track. 10/10
Lovers in the Backseat- Bit of a strange song but again the song is very catchy and the lyrics are funny. Another great song with a classy beat form this fantastic band. 9/10
Tits on the Radio- Looking at the title of this song I thought it was going to be a funny song and I was right and after the first play you find yourself singing this song and the tune not leaving your head for that day!!! 8/10
Filthy/Gorgeous- The first time I heard this just before Christmas I knew from there it was going to be a big hit for me. This is one song you need to turn up loud and have a good dance and sing!!! A catchy tune. 10/10
Music is the Victim- Haven't really listened to this song much but again, from what I have heard it is yet another dancing song. One of those songs you would put on when you are getting ready for a great night out!! 7/10
Better Luck- Another song I haven't really listened much but it's catch and the beat is good and it will grow on me and become a very much loved song. 7/10
It Can't Come Quickly Enough- My favourite track on the album. This sounds very new romantic and I see the resemblence in this song with the great 80's group Erasure. It is very catchy and all my house mates have fell in love with this song and a lot of the time I hear them all singing the chorus to this well loved song. 11/10
Return to Oz- Another one of my favourites. The guitar playing in this track is fantastic. The lyrics are a bit wierd but the beat just draws you into the song and you will find yourself putting this song on repeat and loving it!! 10/10
The Skins- A good song. Not a track I would skip too but I do really like it. The beat is good and Jake Shears fantastic voice really does stand out. 6/10
Get It Get It- I think this song is really good. Again I think it is very 1980 sounding and you can hear that Erasure creeping in again! Jake Shears actually sounds like him!!! Fantastic tune. 9/10
Overall I think this album is one in a million and one for everyones album. This is the first album to go in my car because it is really catchy and when you are sat in those traffic jams you will find yourself not being bothered because this album takes you into the Scissor Sister's world. Singing the place down and those tunes blaring out of your window!
Buy it it is 100% and worth having. Trust me, you won't put it down!
