- Kano is bridging the gap
I originally ignored this album due to my slight prejudice against mainstream acts such as the streets. Since being subjected to it in my mate's car i have come around to recognise Kano one of the better UK rappers out there. His flow and the number of times he switches it up is sick. The beats are good too. He is easily up there with the UK's finest Jehst, Life, Cy Philly, Klashnekoff, Kyza, Chester P, Scor-zay-zee, Cappo et al. And thats one of the good things about him, he appeals to fans of seriously good rappers such as those i have just mentioned, and also talentless wastemen like lethal bizzle (a complete joke!). Hopefully he can convert a few grime fans to real hip hop. Before anyone tries to defend lethal drivel plz check out some tracks from the above MC's and hear some actual talent on the mic.

Kano began in the GRIME scene and is doing more hiphop stuff.Kano is sick and this is worth buying.His bars are sick.Also if you are a kano fan , get his other cd or mixtape as there called , called KANO -Beats and Bars and look out kanos second ablum coming out soon.

There are alot of UK rappers out there, mostly they are underground rappers such as Lethal Bizzle, but they offer a different underground style of rap that follows the same story every song.. eg POW its lethal da bizzle records, POW POW POW... and thats all good but kano offers a bit of underground mixed with a bit of US style rap. If you listen to some of his songs, particulary when he shouts/sings he sounds EXACTLY like Eminem. Recarkable resembalance. I would love to say that kano would make it to the top of the game one day, but with all this populor emo stuff it doesnt look good.
Great album though.

Kano is an up and coming uk hip hop star and this album shows why. It has some top quality tunes on here, Nite Nite and Ghetto kid especially. The latter being one of the best hip hop tunes of the last three to four years, and thats worldwide. I recently saw Kano advertising a tour with David Banner, if it is up to the standard of the album, it could go down as one of the best hip hop tours of all time.
Kano is the british 50 Cent, can he be better? We shall see.

I've always favoured US Rap and was yet to find a UK Rapper that i found apealling, til i bought this album, Kano is the future of UK Rap, he could break it mainstream in the USA. He is genuine talent and has great lyrics original and standoutish, which is what i look for when i listen to my rap/hip-hop. Hes got his own style and is not afraid to experiment. My fave songs on the album are the obvious ones, Typical Me, Remember Me, Nite Nite, Mic Check, Home Sweet Home, Signs In Life, Cop This Album, its the future of UK Rap. Big Up To KANO!
