wow what a different album compared to the first two but in its own way its just as good, the samples used complement hes flow on this album. The beats are tight as always and its good to hear mos def spitting again. Overall by the album because its different and its top grade music. Standout tracks are champion its just makes me smile everytime i put it on. And Good life is another fav of myne, with t-pain on the vocals/vocorder. Im not a massive fan of t-pain but he suits this track and complements Kanye's style. Once again Kanye you did the business and buried the competition, although 50's album is ok its not a patch on this album, enjoy.

OK, lets get this into perspective people;
1. Kanye West is still at the top of his game.
2. Graduation is a brilliant album.
3. Change is a good thing.
4. Kanye West is a legend.
Just because this doesn't sound like The College Dropout or Late Registration it does not constitute being a poor album. That's just naivety. Kanye has 'switched the style up' on Graduation - it's fresh, it's innovative and it's bloody great!
I agree that there is no 'Jesus Walks', however, as amazing a song that was, why would you want to buy an album that has not moved on from the last? "Because I enjoyed it" I hear you cry. Well, if you'd just open your mind up a little you might just enjoy this one too. Stop living in the past people!
The best tracks on the album, for me, include 'Champion', the epic 'Stronger', the upbeat 'Good Life', the fierce 'Can't Tell Me Nothing' and, as much as the man is not my cuppa tea (Chris Martin), 'Homecoming' is pure quality. "Flashing Lights", "I Wonder" and "Everything I Am" are classic laid-back Kanye, and contain some genius lyrics.
Every track has something to offer, there is nothing wrong with this album whatsoever. In fact, it is probably one of the best albums I have. Kanye never disappoints and already, I cannot wait for the next album!
To conclude, if you like change you'll like Graduation. It contains some magical tracks and in my opinion, Kanye has worked his genius again.

I love fluffy pink bears and tea parties. My mum brought this for me and me and my friends love it! He He!! We got our own dance routine to stronger which we are gonna perform at assembly on Monday. WOOOOO! Hit it!!

Didnt think this would happen at all, Kanye West releasing a cr*p album because this is exactly what this is...what a dissapointment, I have a good mind to take it back and pick up fifty's album, amsure it will be better than this but maybe not. Its seems as though he has run out of things to say on this album, no creativity, his lyrics are wasted, talking about so much rubbish, no thought provoking songs like'when it all falls down' all jesus walks or heard em say or touch the sky or anything like that. the first track sounds ok and then it just all falls apart.
Kanye has got too big for his boots and his idea of creating blended music has just not worked, I can see what he wanted to do with this album, create an album that blends all the music genre's together but it does not work, teh samples he uses are not even good. This album lacks soul and depth and is quite shallow. I gave it 3 stars for the album artwork coz thats probably the most creative thing about the album.
If you are going to buy this labum, do it only coz you are a fan and you can excuse him this one time coz his last 2 installations were good, music wise, nothing creative at all plus the fact that he hasn't got any features on the album ezxcept for mos def and jay-z who both dont even do anything inetresting. Poor album and I know that if he had done this album as his first, he would not have gotten as big as he is now.
What a shame...

Ok so you slam the disc in the CD draw and press play:
Opening track 'good morning',
"excellent", you think and you mistakenly feel it's going to be another great album..Wrong.
Some 50 minutes later and the overall inferiority is all too apparent.
Whereas his first two efforts would get into my all time top 10 rap albums any day of the week,this one is sadly not even in the same league.
Not only is it shorter but it also distinctly feels below par and somewhat insubstantial for someone with Wests talents.
Musically,there are still isolated moments of inspiration.
Though there is nothing here that even remotely compares to 'Jesus Walks' or 'Diamonds from Sierra Leone'
And herein lies the problem.
The lyrics here as a whole are poor,with Kanye resorting to saying absolutely nothing at all,
at least nothing of any value..
If you're only bothering to rap about success,money,and self image then how exactly are you any better than all the other rap artists?
What because they rap about guns & violence?
Please..
The void must be filled with important things to say.
'Drunk and hot girls' is instantly irritating whilst 'Homecoming' with Chris bloody Martin contributing vocals is almost unbearable.
Alas Kanye,where did it all go wrong?
Frankly I don't know and it's beyond my comprehension how he could have fallen so low..
All said however there are around four rather goods songs here,probably the best being 'Everything I am'...
So if your a Kanye fan you'll no doubt buy this anyway,but if your not don't bother and buy Late Registration instead,a masterpiece in almost every way.
