- Yo Ministry time to change the tunes man!
What is it with Ministry of Sound that every time they release an anthem it has got nearly the same type of tracks on it as the one they realest the last time? I'm not for one minute saying that the dance music on this CD is bad, but all I am saying is that I think it's about time Ministry of Sound produced something different IE used different tracks with there Anthems instead of just releasing the same tracks but in a different fancy box just to make money.

So many great tracks on all 3 CDs I probably couldn't list my favourites (too many of them!) but one which stands out in particular is The bomb! Kenny Dope 'these sounds fall into my mind' on disc 2 along with the wonderful club hit Greece 2000 - Three Drives.
Go buy it now, it's well worth it.

- What happened to the real Ministry of Sound.
Like most of the reviews here i used to love Ministry of sound albums because it was the music i raved 2. My 1st one was the annual 2000 because 1999/2000 was i thought the best year of dance music. The last album i bought of ministry of sound was the excellent Trance Nation electric which i still listen 2. But recently this last few years Ministry of sound and Euphoria have been churning out non stop classics with virtually the same songs on every album. Like another review Born Slippy is worn out its a classic but not today. I like saltwater by chicane but does it have to be on every album. Others include zombie nation, Grace not over yet, Storm and darude and agnelli&nelson come on when are we going to hear something original from the Ministry of sound that brought us great music not so long ago. And lastly i can say without doubt this latest album is crap.

Never went to raves (too old, I'm nearly 50), haven't got any of the singles, although I do remember some of them...... Have recently been introduced to dance music via my 17 year old son and these CDs have plenty of what he would call "tunes" - great to play at full blast in the car, whether he's with me or not. Don't take any notice of some of the previous reviewers.....get it for fun!

Some reviewers are being somewhat harsh.
It is a compilation called "Anthems" RELEASED by the record label that's owned by one of the biggest clubs... ever!
It's not suggesting every song was played in the venue, it simply says "Remember why you fell in love with dance music" and although many of these have been on compilations time and time again it is a great collection of commercial dance anthems from (mainly) the 90's.
A few latter day tunes "Detroit" & "Call On Me" as well as some Ibiza trance from the early noughties.
The only person who can ever create their own perfect compilation is YOU - no-one will ever be 100% satisfied with this kinda thing, and there are some glaring ommisions, but that's what iTunes is for.
This is a great compilation, not original (but then how can it be - the majority are "classic" floorfillers) but still non-too shabby.
