The Shakuhachi produces a wonderfully haunting style of music that is full of emotion and the tracks on this disc are all brilliant examples of this instrument's art. All the pieces on this disc are composed and expertly played by Masayuki Koga, a master Shakuhachi player who I will definitely be looking out for in the future. Anyone who is a fan of far eastern music, and the music of Japan in particular, will not be disappointed with having this CD in their collection. |
