. Silver Side Upby: Nickelback Release Date Nickelbacks's second LP is headed up with the first single 'How You Remind Me,' which is strong and well-sung. This single is seriously promising, but the trouble is that when you mix it in with the rest of the album, it doesn't really stand out that much - because it is all so good! When heard at first, they are usually compared to Aaron Lewis' Staind, but having heard both of the current albums from these two bands, this is just a bit better. THe riffs are impressive, the guitars are heavy and distorted, yet amazingly calm and impressively mixed to the vocals. Overall, the album does feel a bit cut short, with only about 10 tracks, but all of these are sheer class. A must buy. |
