. Kid Rockby: Kid Rock Release Date This album is in my opinion the best from Kid Rock yet. Whilst his first three mainstream albums; 'Devil Without A Cause', 'The History Of Rock' and 'Cocky', were each wonderful in their own right, this album has seen Kid Rock take a big right turn in the maturity of his music. This album sees far less of his rap/hip hop roots (although strong evidence of this still remains in the track titled 'Intro' which curiously isn't at the start of the album, but rather half way through it), and focuses much more the rock and country aspects of his unique style, most siginificantly made evident by his collaborations with Hank Williams, Jr. and Sheryl Crow on the album.
