Headthrashby: Plump Djs Release Date June 02, 2008 I've been a big fan of the Plumps in the past, Saturday Night Lotion was excellent (a good precursor to the current electro sound), whilst a Plump Night Out is still a classic, as is their Fabric mix and Eargasm was good too (despite a couple of duff tracks). So with that in mind I approached this album with some anticipation. Unfortunately it's a big disappointment, the Plumps have tried to change direction a bit and make it more song based. It's a commendable idea but it doesn't come off, and whilst there a couple of good tracks, "System Addict" being the best, but overall it's rather forgettable, except for some of the vocals which are a bit grating.
