. The Declarationby: Ashanti Release Date June 09, 2008 I have never really been a fan of Ashanti's music. She has had some good singles but never really any good, solid albums...until now! Ashanti has definitely improved vocally, lyrically (she writes her own songs) and just delivers somethin' different from anythin' I've heard on her previous releases. If you like contemporary R&B then this CD is worth a listen. I respect Ashanti for tryin' somethin' a little different from her usual. As an album I'd say it was her best so far.
